There are generally two types of individual: the first will eat anything they like the second will to a strict diet. The type of person who will always eat the leftovers of someone’s meal and finish the pie that’s been sitting around for a week. A bit of cake here, some cookies there, leftover pie, as soon as you see it, you have to have it. Yes, tons of us do this, it’s called instant gratification; many of us do not even know what a health supplement is.

If that sounds like you I would warn against such behavior that can have such a detrimental effect on your long term health. I can’t tell you how bad it is for your health to eat like that, so perhaps it’s time you took a step back and started to look after yourself by taking health supplements. These supplements often give you far more than you realize short term and long term. I’ve had people tell me they don’t like using probiotics them and then in the same breath tell me that they have never tried them to start with.

This is absurd because you have to try certain things in life before you can determine what you think of them; besides no-one is asking you to eat a frog now are they? I’m talking health supplements made from powder, chocolate and minerals, nothing awful. I have always taken some form of supplement; one of those is a multivitamin that I have been taking for over 10 years. I believe everyone no matter how healthily you eat would benefit from taking multivitamins and all you do is swallow one at a mealtime.

The other health supplement I enjoy is whey protein which I only started drinking a little while ago. I suppose it’s the fact that you get so much protein and goodness from what is essentially a milk shake. It’s also easy and very convenient to drink, in the morning and at lunch time. Another benefit apart from its convenience is that you get to add about 30 grams of protein which is good for your muscles.

You often hear people saying you can’t have good without bad but that’s not true with today’s health supplements because they have removed everything that’s bad for you. So things like salt, sugar, cholesterol and saturated fat to name a few, which we already get too much of, aren’t in them. So take a look on the internet and do a little checking because I can guarantee you will feel better for taking health supplements, in fact they could give you a whole new lease of life!
